In Q3 2021, the top travel and local apps in Brazil showed varying trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Voos e Hotéis from 123Milhas saw consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 103K in mid-July and maintaining strong numbers throughout the quarter. Active users grew steadily from approximately 284K at the beginning of the quarter to 370K by the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 75K and reaching over 113K by the end of September. Active users also saw growth, beginning at 1.48M and fluctuating to a high of approximately 1.69M by late August before slightly declining to 1.63M in the last week of September.

Airbnb demonstrated a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 57K in late June and climbing to around 95K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 727K to 895K over the quarter.

ClickBus - Bus Tickets showed a steady rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 35K and reaching approximately 58K by the end of the quarter. The app's active users grew from 130K to 157K during the same period.

Decolar: Voos e Hotéis maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 36K and peaking at 61K in mid-September. Active users increased from 418K at the beginning of the quarter to 500K by the end.
